Join the Ranks: Membership & Tuition
Whether you are a seasoned competitor, a returning player, or someone who has never touched a chanter or a drumstick before, there is a place for you in Glencorse Pipe Band.
Based in Penicuik and attracting members from across Scotland’s Central Belt, we are a forward-thinking band that prides itself on musical excellence, a busy performance calendar, and—most importantly—a supportive, friendly social atmosphere.

The Glencorse Support Team
You don’t have to play an instrument to be a vital part of the Glencorse story. Our Non-Playing Support Team is the backbone of the band, and we are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us thrive.
If you have skills in fundraising, social media, photography, logistics, or event promotion, or if you simply want to help out when the band is performing at Gala Days and international festivals, we would love to hear from you. Being part of the support team is a fantastic way to enjoy the camaraderie of the pipe band world and travel with the group without having to march!
Be Part of Our 50-Year Legacy
Join a band that has performed for Royalty, starred in Men in Kilts, and travelled the world. Whether you are picking up a pipe for the first time or helping us manage our next international tour, you are welcome at Glencorse.
